ABOUT THE PROJECT:
Join us in transforming the home of 1 home in our community! Together, we will be decluttering, refurnishing, painting, and cleaning the home all within a day. It might require some physical stamina, but it will be a fun and meaningful time of making a change together with like-minded people.
CONTEXT:
Home Sweep Home is a project that enters into the homes of the vulnerable communities that live in one/two-room rental flats, or are vulnerable in other ways to reimagine and enhance their homes for a safe, hygiene and dignified living. We do it through decluttering, refurnishing, painting, and cleaning of the home. We believe one’s home is where the transformation of our minds and lives begins, and a simple makeover could give people a chance to a better start at life.
ITINERARY:
Day of the project:
— Throw away any unwanted furnitures in the home
— Declutter their belongings
— Give the walls a fresh coat of paint
— Build some new furnitures
— Clean up
— Furnish the home
Lunch and drinks will be provided.
