With prayer and God’s guidance, Share & Bless was birthed on January 26, 2024 with the combined efforts of the Mandarin Ministry and Outreach & Social Concerns (OSC)! The decision was taken to start engaging with the disadvantaged residents in the HDB rental block (Blk157) with a monthly distribution of fresh vegetables, eggs and wholesome food. Over the following 11 months, TMC has reached 174 households in Blk 157 and another 25 households in the surrounding blocks through word of mouth.
In addition to the monthly Food Distribution, we have started a schedule of weekday visitations to consistently deepen the friendships. The units to be visited would be advised by the appointed “anchors” for the floor. We currently have 8 anchors and another 3 are growing into the role. Many residents recognise TMC people and welcome us to their homes and some allow us to pray for them and their needs. Join this movement with the gift of your time and reflect the Love of our Lord that more residents would want to join the TMC Community. Some 6 – 9 residents are consistently attending the Mandarin Service. Five of the nine residents have attended Alpha and one was baptised. Four have just started twice a month sessions on Growing in Christ. In February 2025, 2-4 kids have joined Children’s Ministry and 2 are starting to receive study help on Saturdays at TMC.
