Mark your calendars for the official start of our season! On Saturday, 15 November, join us for our annual Christmas Light Up as we come together to decorate and light up the church for the season! We will also be preparing gifts to bless our community, including migrant workers, residents of Blk 157, and new friends joining our Christmas services. This is a fun, essential event—don’t miss the chance to celebrate the start of Advent with us!

22 Nov – Chen Su Lan Methodist Children’s Home Family Day Carnival: The Carnival is an exciting afternoon for families to bond over food and games. We need helping hands as game station masters, ushers, registration teams, hosts and many more as we bring the Christmas joy to everyone! Sign up here.
29 Nov – Chen Su Lan Methodist Children’s Home Christmas Shopping Day: A cherished annual highlight on the calendar for both the residents and our volunteers, you will be accompanying residents to go for an afternoon of christmas shopping at a designated shopping centre and for lunch! Sign up here.

The theme for this year’s Advent Season is “Peace”. We live in a world fractured by conflict, divisioni and war; and the Church desperately needs to rediscover the profound peace that Christ brings. Jesus – our Prince of Peace offers Shalom – not merely the absence of conflict but the presence of wholeness, justice and restoration to our broken world.
On Christmas Eve, we’ll be having an evangelistic service where you are encouraged to invite friends to experience the Christmas story and the peace that Christchild brings, through Scripture and Song!
Let us move together in love and service to finish the year strong!
